Me and my girlfriend have been together for a year and i just found out she’s moving to Las Vegas and she’s packing up today leaving Monday. I drive for Fedex Express in Las Vegas, Nevada and I see dozens of homeless as I make my deliveries. I see them as I drive the 30 minutes it takes to get to my home. I was raised by parents who taught me not to judge others since I have no idea what they’ve been thru. I wish I could help but I really have no idea what I can do other than give what change I have and words of encouragement. When you see someone in need do you offer help in anyway you can? I really feel sad when I see someone with young children. It’s not supposed to be like this. Children should not suffer when parents aren’t able to support them. I can’t and won’t judge parents for having kids. Like I said I don’t know what they’ve been thru. Tell me how you feel. Thank you.

I feel very similar to the way you do about homelessness…Personally I do what I can when I can to help those who need it..(volunteering at the shelters a few times a year,donate goods to charitable organizations etc…)Until we as a Country, or local communities get a grip on the situation and answer to those who are in need it looks pretty grim for those in that situation,sad but true,and as you mentioned,children are victims of circumstance and that alone is sad
and seems so unnecessary,yet in order to change that a community needs support from all levels of Government and State…and that hurdle is not easy to get over my friend,but a worthy try sure wouldn’t hurt..=)I admire your caring for your fellow mankind..
